When I was a child, when I listened to a story, the ending was always happy, and the characters “lived happily ever after,” but I had never seen what a happy life looked like in a story. Growing up a little, I thought the so-called happy life was more boring than the hardships and obstacles, and I worried that it would be too dull to tell. When I finally realized happiness and wanted to keep it for a long time, I discovered joy was avoided in the story because it needed to be self-reflected and managed by heart. It was so trivial and complicated that it was not suitable to be put into the story.
In some other stories, after the pain is deeply engraved in the heart, years have passed, and those who have been torn to the heart of the pain, it seems only to the characters in the story to add the chest and wisdom. In the past, I used to grumble about it, why it seemed like nothing had happened, why I didn’t die at the saddest moment, so angry that I didn’t have time to think about how the people in the story had survived the pain. When I think about it now, I realize there was no other way to endure it, and because there was no other way to cope with it, it seemed to outsiders like it was just a moment.
