Not only the Python team, but Google has also moved many positions to places outside of Silicon Valley/USA.

Silicon Valley has the best IT engineers in the world. Almost all information technology is born in Silicon Valley/USA. This is what I understand as a technology center.

If Google gives up Silicon Valley just because of capital reasons, I think one day they will regret it.
